CoderDojo Ireland is recruiting a Co-ordinator for immediate start until the end of the year.
Reporting to the Chairperson of the Board, the Co-ordinator will ideally have experience as a CoderDojo (or similar group) Volunteer, Mentor or Champion. They will need to be a self-starter, highly organised and dynamic, with good communication skills and prepared to travel to Dojos around the country as well as admin work.
The Co-ordinator will liaise with CoderDojo Foundation staff, helping to grow CoderDojo in Ireland by supporting existing Dojos, assisting in the creation of new Dojos, arranging Mentor meet-ups and working on developing corporate relationships.
Support existing Dojo Champions/Mentors
Locate new Champions to start Dojos in areas where there is demand
Assist anyone interested in starting a new Dojo
Organise/support the organisation of Mentor meetups
Liaise with CDF Community Coordinator
Work on developing corporate partnerships with a view to funding
Supply the Board with regular updates as to work progress
Eligible to work in Ireland
Own car and full clean license
Motivated, organised person capable of working independently
Competent in delivering presentations and dealing with people at all levels of business
Good interpersonal skills
Some understanding of Computer Science / Education
32 hour working week with 25 days holidays pro rata. Salary c. €30,000 also pro rata.
